Collection Locations: City Market Stores in Avon, Dillon, and Eagle
In a recent statewide survey conducted by the nonprofit Hunger Free Colorado showed that one in three individuals, that’s 33% of Coloradans, are food insecure, a problem worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic. With the approaching holiday season, an ongoing pandemic, inflationary concerns and the high cost of housing, Fill the Van food drive will benefit individuals and families in-need through the following three nonprofit organizations: Summit County’s FAMILY & INTERCULTURAL RESOURCE CENTER, Eagle County’s SALVATION ARMY and the COMMUNITY MARKET in Eagle. Our volunteers will be in front of grocery stores with shopping lists to shoppers headed in and then collecting food as shoppers exit the stores. Fill up a basket (or two!) for the families in your community!
