SNOW HEADING TO COLORADO - NWS ISSUES A WINTER STORM ALERT
Posted On: 02/06/2017The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the mountains of Colorado, including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper, Aspen and Snowmass. Snow levels will be at 7000 feet and visibility will be reduced to under 1/2 mile. Roads could be hazardous, and travel will be slow between Denver and the Mountain Ski Areas. Denver International Airport is not expected to be impacted. but travelers heading to the mountains should be prepared. This storm is expected to last through Wednesday evening.
