Epic / CME Counter Moves at DIA due to Airport Remodel
Posted On: 06/30/2018Epic Mountain Express, formerly Colorado Mountain Express (CME) New Counter Location at DIA Great Hall Remodel Necessitates Counter Move
Due to construction at Denver International Airport, CME’s counter has been relocated to the Northeast corner of the airport, adjacent to North Security (International Arrivals end). There are DEN Airport ambassadors on site to assist with directions. The new space is near Mangelsen Art Gallery and Red Rocks Brewery. As usual, CME guests should collect all checked baggage before heading to the new counter location.
Why is the Great Hall being redeveloped? Since it was built 22 years ago, DEN has become the fifth-busiest airport in the USA. It was originally built to serve 50 million passengers and in 2017, 61.4 million passengers passed through DEN. With the addition of TSA security screening, the Great Hall lost it’s place as a traveler’s oasis. This multi-year project will improve the passenger experience.
