CME RESUMES SHUTTLE SCHEDULE
Posted On: 03/02/2016Road is now open 24 hours/ day - Expect 30-60 Minute Delays in Slide Area
Road Repair Continues - 1 Lane Open in Area of Slide
Colorado Department of Transportation has re-opened Glenwood Canyon for travel. After multiple rock slides closed the road, and then bad weather delayed repair work, the road is now open 24 hours/ day. All traffic is using the eastbound lanes. Because of the one lane “head to head” traffic configuration, this is a NO PASSING area through the Canyon, which slows down travel. Future closures are likely as rock work and repairs are still ongoing. Delays of 30 minutes to one hour through the canyon are still possible.
CME is operating its winter shuttle schedule between DIA and Aspen/ Snowmass/ Glenwood Springs. No major delays have been experienced in the past 4 days. According to Colorado Department of Transportation, there could be delays of up to an hour through Glenwood Canyon. On average, CME has experienced about a 20 minute delay. Scheduled service to and from Eagle Vail Airport has resumed as well. Please call Reservations to reserve your seat, or book online. See schedules HERE
